The office supply store, for example, has a bunch of different tools that are great for artists. One example would be specialty paper cutters (such as rotary paper trimmers or the corner rounder) which are great for any type of artist that works with paper.
Some artists are more flexible in the tools that they can use than others are. Mixed media artists, collage artists and junk art artists will have the most flexibility.
